THE GREAT DECEIVER Live your life in complete obeyance of the "good Lord." Far too many contradictions plague your praised book - written by man. And so many of the close to you have fallen victim Rampant disease, massive hardships fall upon them with no warrant. So you it was meant to happen. It's all in his plan. How can you sit back and watch your loved ones in so much pain? Every night before you lie to bed, pray in his name. While your family lie in metal frames awaiting death. Why do so many try to find some afterlife? Faith bestowed in a false sanctuary. Have some faith in one's self. God is dead. Another life, it has been taken by your good lord. Heavens come crashing down around you. where's your faith now? Time to realize that there's more to life while you're still here. Take some time to think before you pass your judgement on fellow man. So caught up in all that you've been fed all of your years. When the time comes, I too will be faced with a choice. Looking at the way you've lived your life all of your years Bigoted and ignorant I'd rather burn in eternal hell. THROUGH IDLE HANDS I SLIP Gasping for air. Lungs filled with blood Shed by my heart As I free fall. Wondering eyes, they question your thoughts. Your choices effect more than just you. You claim innocence as I cry. Cry in pools of blood. Cry as I slip through your idle hands. Outstretched, yet gaping wide. TAKING THE SUMMER OFF Burn these words deep. You can only feign sincerity for so long. Ten thousand words can't change what you already said. Deny the cost. Accept the loss. Be prepared to pay the price. Now you I ostracize. What made you think we'd never catch on to the true you? Dilute the mark I have scarred. Blind acceptance does not flow freely Six months of feigned sincerity counts for nothing. What I've held for so long, cheapened for social climb. Dragged down for not the first time. And when you attempt to return You can look me dead in the eyes Searching for acceptance. These eyes afire. You can know, know for sure This back is turned. Ten thousand words can't change what you already said. Be prepared to pay the price. Now you I ostracize. You can forget ever coming back. TO DENY THE INEVITABLE Your presence means more to me than anything in this lonely world. No answers given to why those we love have to leave. Don't leave me in this world. I know I cannot survive on my own. Promise me, never leave. My thoughts betray me. Fear hangs in my heart. I'll never forget all that you've done for me. When all is said and done, you're all that I need. Your love will never be taken for granted. You are my life. HIERARCHY OF NEEDS Told to believe since the day you're born. Destined to live like all the others before. Sheltered from the world. Nothing lasts forever. Today is here right now And for all we know, tomorrow may never come. If I told you to live in this moment Would you take me seriously? Or just bury your head deeper in the sand? You can't learn from life without regret. How do you expect to look back now? You can't go back and change a thing. The worse it to look back and regret life. Before this world claims you dead Can you say that you've done a single thing To prove that you've lived? My life cannot be bought or sold.
